每一个学期的功课都越来越沉重，考试越来越难。
日子得过且过，我们总算都挨过来啦！哈哈
大考还剩下两科，然后我们就merdeka了。
趁还没有merdeka，让我回顾一下我这个学期发生的事情和科目。
这个学期最特别，也是我在大学里最特别的一个学期。
不是我找到男朋友啦，也不是大学突然多了很多帅哥美女，
更不是我的成绩突飞猛进，更绝对不可能是我考试不及格！哈哈
其实是一个我和朋友们办的活动-UTAR Idol。
因为这个活动，我认识了很多新朋友，也得到很多经验。
在办活动时，有过生气想骂人的时候，有过伤心失望哭泣的时候，
当然最后还是开心满意的结束了这个活动。
我花了很多时间，费了很多精神，翘了一些课，
但是我还是觉得这些是值得的。

I have 5 subjects this semester, all of them are hard to score in exam. haiz
1) Financial Statement Analysis - This is the only subject i think its very boring and dull in this semester. So its the subject i dislike the most. ( i don wan to use the word 'hate' ) The final paper was over last week, I actually dont really understand whats about this subject.. Ok la.. I know abit.. I know how we can evaluate a company's performance, whether its undervalued or overvalued in the market. And i also know the various type of methods how managers adjust their earning legally.. haha.. I also know how read Annual Report now! Bangganya.. I remembered i use the Annual report last time as my draft paper to do my math. I also had my 'first time' in the library, searching finance newspapers for the EPS and share price info. Like we are going to invest a huge amount money so we need to do a lot of analysis. haha
2) Business Finance - This is a subject which is quite similar to FSA but this is more interesting. There are more calculation and the theories are quite 'acceptable'. haha.. Besides, the lecturer and tutor are interesting as well. The lecturer is like my primary school lao shi. He once said our class has decipline problem, so he has to lock the door when he started his lecture. And he wont allow us to go out during his lecture, he wants us to HONOR his lecture! Haiz.. We forgive him eventually, because he gave us a very useful revision notes before final! Ohya.. The tutor.. She is quite pretty among all the lecturers and tutors in my uni, and she is talkative and she can remember her students' name! She remembered mine during the second week i attend her tutorial.
3) Macroeconomics I - We don learn Macro II, thanks god! I have nthg to say about this subject, its make me completely speechless after the final paper...
4) Life Contingencies I - We will learn life cont II next semerter. This is another subject i scare the most. The concept 'study hard => pass exam' doesnt work out now. No matter how hardworking u are, if u cant understand the theories or u mis-memorise a variable in the formula, then u know lar.. haha.. This is the first time in uni i heard the lecturer said he gave those students who cant score in the test a retest. But i felt that, the retest doesnt help much in the overall coursework marks as it just contribute 1.5 marks to your coursework IF u get full marks in the retest. However, this is an important subject for AS student! This is a MUST DO subject.. The lecturer will keep on repeating 'if u die in this period', 'if u survive in this period and u die in the next period', 'if u don die, the insurance will pay u and if u die the insurance will pay u' ... Die die die is a MUST in this subject! haha.. If u don die, we cant calculate how much money we need to reserve to pay u as benefits.. haha.. Quite interesting if i can pass this subject with flying colors.
5) Applied Statistical Model - We used to call this subject ASM, and we cant remember its full name. This is a subject u need to memorise formula for your final paper. The subject is very.. abstract.. The only thing i know is we use past data to predict the future data. They are just estimations and predictions.
I heard from my friend from UKM, the lecturer there said UTAR offers AS course and this only create problem to the market. Why he said so? This is because u can easily study this course in UTAR, provided u have good or not-so-good result. I am agree with him that the uni doesnt have a strict and high requirement for those who want to take this course, but we are not relaxing in the study.. We are as hardworking as UKM student and i dont see our final paper is more easy than their paper! Cheh.. He dint blame other private college because our uni is cheaper.. So the uni create a lot of AS students to compete with theirs in the market. Swt.. If your students are so clever, why they still cant get a job? Please la.. I just hope that freak who said that is not a Chinese lor!

The fact that we can "spoil" the market is because our standard is not lower than them. If they are so good, how can we compete with them? We can compete, because we can threaten them; we can threaten them, because we are not worse then them; we are not worse then them, might imply that we are better than them... haha
